Every trip is fully inclusive of permits, transport, licensed Sherpa guide, porter, teahouse stays, and airport transfers, priced transparently in USD.

An 8-day expert-guided trek into the Langtang valley, the closest Himalayan range to Kathmandu. Drive-in start, steady walk through old-growth oak and hemlock forest to Kyanjin Gompa, with an optional pre-dawn summit of Tserko Ri (4,773 m). From $1,290 USD per person, twin share. Difficulty: moderate. Best season: March–May, October–November. Distance: 55 km round trip.
Itinerary stops: Kathmandu (1,400 m) → Syabrubesi (1,550 m) → Lama Hotel (2,470 m) → Langtang Village (3,430 m) → Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m) → Tserko Ri (4,773 m).
Autumn (late September to mid-November) is the single best window — driest air, sharpest mountain views, peak season for all three routes. Spring (March–May) is the second-best season, warmer with rhododendron in bloom but slightly hazier views. We do not run treks in late June through August because of monsoon flight cancellations to Lukla and trail wash-outs on the Langtang and Annapurna gorge sections.
Strenuous but non-technical. You walk 5–7 hours a day for 12 days, gaining 4,000 m of cumulative elevation. No climbing skills are needed, but you must be cardiovascularly fit. Most people who train consistently for 8–12 weeks finish without issue.
Significantly easier. The maximum altitude is 4,130 m versus 5,545 m on the EBC route, daily walking distances are similar but at lower elevation, and there are no flights — you start and end in Pokhara by road.
It is the quietest of the three, the closest to Kathmandu (no internal flight), the cheapest, and the most culturally textured (Tamang Buddhism, yak cheese, family teahouses). For a first taste of the Himalaya in 8 days, it is the trek we recommend.
Mild AMS symptoms (headache, light nausea) are common above 3,500 m; severe AMS is rare on properly paced treks. Our protocol includes daily oximeter checks, a slow ascent profile, two acclimatisation nights at Namche, and emergency oxygen above 4,500 m.
Travel insurance with helicopter-evacuation cover up to 6,000 m is mandatory. Most standard policies stop at 4,500 m. Send us your policy reference at least 7 days before the trek.
